Cairo
BWhHot desert
At the head of the Nile Delta, Cairo is an old mainstay of adventure storytelling (The Four Feathers, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Mummy). Its weather is straightforward—it almost never rains and skies are clear and cloudless. Daily temperature swings are substantial, and summers are scorching and dry; consider increasing the temperature band during hot days around noon to make travel difficult. Sandstorms (Khamaseen) are possible, lasting from several hours to a few days, and concentrated in the springtime.
Optional rules: In spring, 5% daily chance of a sandstorm lasting 1d4 hours (4s explode).
