The Mill at Vaudricourt

This was the first Chainmail scenario I ran. You may be able to tell from our amateur setup! Still, it was a great time. Each side deployed about 2’ from the mill at the center. We placed a few forests down, and had the hill around the mill outlined in yarn. The hill itself was difficult to maneuver around, and our biggest question with the system was how the hill should interact with the crossbows direct fire. Morale also played a key role: the English player split off a unit of just 4 archers, which routed immediately on taking casualties.
